After August 1st please register for your child's USAG number. We will need this to register your child for competitions. Without this they will not be able to compete
All competition leotards, backpacks, and practice leotards are order by the gym. The booster club does not make payments, take sizing, or handle ordering these on behalf of the gymnast. All orders, payments, and sizing are done by Hannah. Please contact Hannah through the front desk for pricing and all other questions.
Booster club fees will be available mid to late summer. We need to wait until all the host gyms release their registration costs for competitions before we can accurately calculate costs for the season. For example, if Hoosier Cup Classic raises the registration fee by $20.00 from last year and we release fees without knowing that we will not have enough to cover the increased cost for registration. We also need to be able to estimate how many coaches we will need at each session and how many sessions are gymnasts will be competing at to estimate coaches expenses. This information is not available by hosting gyms until closer to the competition. For example all gymnast compete the same day vs over 3 days will make a difference in how we estimate coaches expenses. As soon as we have the information we will get it out to you. We will NOT charge anyone without communicating fees first.
Booster club fees cover the cost of registration for your gymnast at all mandatory competitions as well as travel expenses for all coaches. Travel expenses can include hotels, millage, food, rental car, cost of coaching for the meet (not covered by the gym), and other incidental costs associated with having coaches at the competitions. This cost is shared by all gymnast on the team.
Yes! We have a fundraising committee that puts together a bunch of really good opportunities for all families to participate in if they want to. Totally optional. Depending on the fundraiser some funds are held in your gymnast's account and some are cash held by you to use when fees are due. Each fundraiser has different portions that go back to you. Fundraising information will be sent out via email as they come up and also detailed on our website under "fundraising"
Welcome! Check our website out often for latest information. Everything that is communicated via email is also housed on here. You need to register for Sports Engine NOW and get a USAG number on or shortly after Aug 1st. We will need both of these for your child to compete.
All club fees are collected through sports engine. You must be registered with sports engine to compete this season. Please read SE FAQ before registering. You will need to note your child's food allergies and sizing info in SE as well.
If your child can not compete for any reason please notify the booster club and Kevin right away. If we are able to recover registration costs for your child we will be able to reimburse your account. If we are notified past the "drop date" of the hosting club we will not be able to recover registration expenses. Since coaches expenses are estimated for the season ahead of time and split between all families on the team we will not be able to reimburse for coaches expenses as that would require us to go back to every family asking for more money to cover your portion. If there is a special circumstance and we know before the season starts we can try our best to accommodate.
Competition schedules are organized by the hosting gym and are usually not released until a week or 2 before the competition. (Sometimes Sooner) As soon as we know, you will know. Kevin will send out an email letting everyone know what time to arrive and if there will be practice changes for the weekend once he receives our schedule. All information regarding competitions that is available will also be posted under the competition schedule section on website. Expect about a 2 weeks heads up on the exact date and time. Each level will just compete once and is not expected to stay for the whole weekend/ day, just their session and awards.
Because our girls all compete at different times and different days we don't have a "team hotel." Some families may choose to drive the day of and some like to spend the night. Often host gyms will have a room block where you are able to get discounted rates on a room. Check host gyms website to see if anything is offered. Links will be under competition section on our website.
The girls like to get a little treat after they are done competing while they are waiting in awards. The team parent helps to arrange a treat bag for each of the girls in their group which includes a drink, snack, and fun item. This cost is something that is outside of booster club dues and at each parent's discretion.
Anything related to coaching, levels, skills, training, competitions, missing practice should be directed to Kevin. Anything related to fundraising, social events or competition dues can be directed to the booster club. Leotard questions and gym fees should be directed toward the front desk.
